13 From Falcon Hockey Named to WCHA All-Academic Honors

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – After earning its fourth consecutive 20-win season, 13 players from the Bowling Green hockey program have been named to WCHA All-Academic Team honors for their efforts in the 2017-18 campaign.
Seniors Mitch McLain and Jakob Reichert are three-time recipients of WCHA All-Academic honors in their careers, while seven Falcons all earned their first All-Academic awards.
To earn recognition as a member of the WCHA All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed one year of eligibility at their present institution prior to the current academic year, have a grade-point average of at least 3.0 (4.0 scale) for the previous two semesters or three quarters, or may qualify if overall GPA is at least 3.0 for all terms at the present institution.
