LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- After serving as a two-year captain of the Bowling Green hockey program, alum Sean Walker has worked his way up through the professional hockey ranks to sign an entry level contract with the LA Kings of the National Hockey League.
Walker's two-year contract comes after he led all defensemen in assists, points, and plus/minus in his first season with the Ontario Reign, the Kings' AHL affiliate, in the 2017-18 season. In his first professional season, the Keswick, Ontario native tallied 28 points, a plus-17 rating and 59 penalty minutes in 64 regular season games.

Walker joins a Kings organization led by fellow Bowling Green alum Rob Blake, who is the program's vice president and general manager.
