Single-Game Tickets Set To Go On Sale; Advance Purchasing Saves Money

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Ticket Office has announced that single-game tickets for the 2018-19 Bowling Green hockey season will go on sale for Falcon Club members and season ticket holders Monday. Single-game tickets will be available to the general public beginning Tuesday.
Purchasing tickets in advance equates to a $2 saving per ticket! For a family of five, that is a $10 saving for each contest.
Once on sale, fans will be able to purchase single-game tickets by calling the BGSU Ticket Office at 877-BGSU-TICKETS, by visiting the Stroh Center Box Office, or online at BGSUFalcons.com.
Single-game tickets for non-premium games start at $15 for general admission with advanced purchase. Bench reserved seats are $17 and chairback seats are $22 with advanced purchase, while group tickets are available for as low as $8. The Bowling Green hockey program went 23-12-6 in 2017-18, its fourth consecutive 20-win season. The Falcons advanced to the WCHA semifinals for the fifth consecutive season – every season the team has competed in the league.
The Falcons' 18 home games will include three non-conference matchups, one exhibition and 14 Western Collegiate Hockey Association games. For the season, Bowling Green will have a total of 28 WCHA games and seven non-conference matchups.
After opening the season with three non-conference road games, the Falcons will hold its home opener on Sunday, Oct. 14 against non-conference foe Robert Morris. Always a highly anticipated series, the Falcons will host in-state rival Ohio State at the Madhouse on Mercer on Saturday, Oct. 27 in the final non-conference battle of the season.
The Falcons will host Northern Michigan in a standard two-game series Nov. 2-3 in the WCHA opener, prior to its first of two trips to the last frontier when it travels to Anchorage, Alaska to face the Seawolves Nov. 9-10.
The 2018-19 season will include two exhibition games, first coming against the U.S. Under-18 Team on Wednesday, Nov. 21 on the road. The second will be at home as the Falcons host Windsor on Sunday, Dec. 30. Most recently, the Falcons came out victorious in exhibition matchups against both teams in the 2016-17 and 2017-18 seasons.
To close out the first half of the season, the Falcons will host defending WCHA MacNaughton Cup Champions Minnesota State on Dec. 14-15, and will pick up the season on Jan. 3-4 as it hosts Bemidji State at The Slate.
Rounding out the regular season, the Falcons will host Alabama Huntsville on Friday, March 1, before concluding with Senior Night for the team's seven-player senior class on Saturday, March 2.
