FIVE FASCINATING FALCON FACTS
• The Falcons are coming off of a 4-0 win over Purdue Fort Wayne on Tuesday night (Oct. 22). BGSU has scored four goals in back-to-back home matches, and four different Falcons found the back of the net for the second-straight home game.
• Junior Chris Sullivan was involved in the scoring of the last three goals vs. the Mastodons, with a goal and a pair of assists. He now has team-leading totals of six goals, seven assists and 19 points. Sullivan has nearly tripled his point total for all of last season, and has topped his scoring totals for his first two seasons combined. The Naperville, Ill., native has 31 career points on 10 goals and 11 helpers.
• Sullivan has scored a goal in three consecutive home matches, with a total of nine points in those three games. He has been directly involved in the scoring of seven of BG's last eight goals.
• The Falcons have topped the team's win total for all of last season. BGSU has a record of 8-5-1 in 2019, with at least five matches remaining. The Falcons went 6-7-4 last fall.
• Since Eric Nichols took the BG helm prior to the 2009 season, the Falcons have a record of 60-8-6 when scoring at least two goals in a match. BGSU is now 31-2-2 when scoring three or more goals during that time.

THE OPPONENT
• West Virginia is 6-6-1 on the season, and like BGSU, the Mountaineers are 0-2 in MAC play. WVU is looking to snap a four-match losing streak, with the losses coming to a pair of top-25 teams (San Diego and North Carolina) as well as MAC foes Western Michigan and Northern Illinois in that time. Most recently, the Mountaineers suffered a 4-2 home loss to the Huskies last weekend. WVU is 3-4-1 at home and 3-2-0 on the road this year to date. Andres Muriel Albino and Rodrigo Robles Grajera have six goals and 14 points apiece to pace the offense. Steven Tekesky has played every second in goal and has three shutouts, 40 saves and a 1.66 GAA. A year ago, coach Marlon LeBlanc's team went 14-7-0 overall and 5-0-0 in MAC play, capturing the league regular-season title.
THE SERIES
• The Falcons lead West Virginia, 6-3-3, in the all-time series, but the Mountaineers scored a pair of late goals for a 3-2 win in last season's meeting in Morgantown, exactly one year prior to this season's meeting. That result snapped a four-match series unbeaten streak for the Falcons. In the last meeting at Cochrane Stadium, the teams battled to a scoreless draw two years ago. The Falcons are 2-1-1 at home, 1-2-1 on the road and 3-0-1 at neutral sites vs. WVU through the years.
DOWN THE ROAD...
• Following the West Virginia matchup, the Falcons will begin the November schedule with a pair of road matches. BG will make a trip to Kalamazoo to face Western Michigan on Saturday, Nov. 2, with first touch set for 1:00 p.m. at the WMU Soccer Complex.
• BGSU wraps up the regular-season slate the following week, with a midweek trip to Wright State (Tuesday, Nov. 5) and a home matchup with Northern Illinois that weekend (Saturday, Nov. 9). The MAC Tournament will begin on Tuesday, Nov. 12, with first-round matches at campus sites.
