FIVE FASCINATING FALCON FACTS
• BGSU is 4-1-1 on the young season. The Falcons started the 2018 season with a record of 1-5-2, but since that time, BG has gone 9-2-3 in regular-season contests and 9-3-3 overall.
• Bowling Green has scored first in all six matches this season. In fact, BGSU has scored the first goal in each of the last 11 regular-season matches, dating to last fall. The last time the opponent scored first in a regular-season matchup was on Oct. 9, 2018, when IUPUI took a 1-0 lead in Indianapolis. BGSU rallied for an overtime win on that night.
• Senior Chris Brennan has been a key to the Falcons' early-season success. He has scored a goal in each of the last two matches, and has a five-game point-scoring streak. Brennan has tripled his goal total for all of last season.
• Senior Anthony Mwembia has 15 saves on the season and four clean sheets.  Mwembia has already tied shutout total for all of last year, and is halfway to his career high of eight during the 2016 season.
• On the back line senior Tom Wrobel, junior Achille Robin and freshman Michael Montemurri have all started the last three games and played all 90 minutes of each contest. BG has allowed just three goals in six matches this season.

THE OPPONENTS
• Cincinnati is 1-5-0 on the young season, and the Bearcats are looking to snap a four-match losing streak. UC is meeting a MAC opponent for the third-straight match, having faced Western Michigan and West Virginia. The latter match saw the 'Cats fall by a narrow 2-1 final in overtime. Creggton Charlton and Darryn Commissiong each have two goals and four points on the season.  In goal, three different players have seen action. Noah Lawrence has played in five of the six matches, and has 20 saves and a 1.58 GAA for head coach Hylton Dayes.
• Kentucky is 2-1-2 on the year, and the Wildcats are ranked 20th in the nation in the College Soccer News and Top Drawer Soccer polls and 21st in the United Soccer Coaches Poll.  UK is 2-0-1 at home and 0-1-1 on the road, and the 'Cats have tied ranked teams the last two times out (Xavier and Charlotte). Daniel Evans leads the squad with six points and is tied for the lead in goals at two. Kalil Elmedkhar and Aime Mabika each have four points on the season. In goal, Enrique Facusse – a USC Second-Team All-American last year – has played all 490 minutes and has 13 saves and a 1.47 GAA. UK beat Portland, 4-0, in the NCAA's second round, in a match that was viewed by sports information directors around the nation throughout the summer of 2019 as part of NCAA Genius Sports stats training.
THE SERIES
• BGSU leads Cincinnati, 7-5-1, in the all-time series. The Falcons captured a 2-0 road win last season, snapped a lengthy series win streak for the Bearcats. The Falcons won the first six series meetings from 1972-2001, and the teams tied in 2003. Then, though, the 'Cats captured the next five matchups, including a 3-1 victory two years ago, in the teams' last meeting at Cochrane. BG is 4-2-1 at home and 3-3-0 on the road vs. UC.
• The Falcons trail Kentucky, 11-8-1, in that series, and the Wildcats captured a 1-0 victory in overtime in the teams' last meeting, in Lexington during the 2016 campaign. The teams have met just twice since '04, with the Wildcats picking up a 4-1 win in Lexington in 2009, in the first road match of the Eric Nichols Era.
