Safe Gameday At The Doyt

• Bowling Green opens the home portion of the season by hosting the Kent State Golden Flashes on Tuesday. Nov. 10. The 88th meeting between the two will take place inside Doyt L. Perry Stadium and is scheduled for 7:30 PM on ESPN2.

• The all-time series between the Falcons and Golden Flashes currently resides at 60-21-6 in favor of Bowling Green. Kent State has won the previous two matchups, with last year's victory being a 62-20 score.

• Kent State is looking to start the season 2-0 for the first time since 1988.

• This is the first time since Sept. 8, 2001 that the Falcons have played a Mid-American Conference opponent for their first home game of the season, when they defeated Buffalo 35-0.

• The last time the Falcons hosted Kent State for their first home game of the season was back in 1972 (Oct. 14). The Falcons lost a tight one to the Golden Flashes, 14-10.

• Scot Loeffler followed up a 30+ point loss with a win twice in 2019 and will be looking to do it now for the third time in his career.
