East Wins Two Events And All-Around At Temple Quad Meet

Philadelphia, Pa. – Jovannah East scored a 39.225 in the all-around and won both the vault and floor exercise Friday night as the Bowling Green State University gymnastics team competed at Temple's quad meet.

Penn won the meet with a score of 194.000, followed by Temple at 193.975. West Chester scored a 192.000 and BGSU ended with a 188.700. The Falcons fall to 8-12 on the season with the defeats.
East tied her season best scores on both floor and vault, scoring a 9.900 on floor. She added a 9.875 on vault.
Samantha Marion recorded a third-place finish on vault with a 9.725, while freshman Lily Harsch posted her second-best all-around score of the season at 38.175.
Bowling Green will look to rebound quickly as the Falcons compete in a three-team meet at Brown University Sunday at 1:00 pm. The Falcons will also face Rhode Island College in the meet.
