Waters Named CCHA Rookie Of The Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association announced the Players of the Week Monday afternoon (Nov. 27). Of those named, Bowling Green's Brody Waters was named for the games on November 24-25. Waters was named the CCHA Rookie of the Week, after the Falcons split the conference series with the Northern Michigan Wildcats.
CCHA Rookie of the Week: Brody Waters, Forward, Bowling Green
Waters tallied two goals in the 6-2 win over Northern Michigan (Nov.24) his first goal being on a power-play. Waters leads the Freshmen Falcons with 11 points (6G, 5A) and is second overall for point production for Bowling Green. Waters recorded a season game-high on Friday, November 24 when he recorded two goals. He has tallied at least one point for the Falcons in nine out of 14 games.
Waters joined the Falcons this season after playing three seasons with the Nanaimo Clippers (BCHL), where he recorded 53 goals and 72 assists. He was ranked eighth in the BCHL with 61 points in the 2022-23 season.
