Nathan Burke Earns All-CCHA Second Team Honors

Senior had team-best seven power play goals, ranked in CCHA top-three in goals and PPG
All-CCHA Second Team: Nathan Burke, Senior, Forward, Bowling Green
Nathan Burke concluded the regular season with 17 goals, including seven on the power play. In conference play, he had 15 goals, with six coming on the power play. Overall, he ranked third in total goals and second in power play tallies. In CCHA play, he was second in total goals and third in power play goals. Burke also had 12 assists, putting his season point total at a career-best 29. This included six multi-point efforts, including a three-point game against Ferris State where he tallied the game-winning goal.
Burke had a two-goal game against St. Thomas on Jan. 20, making him one of two Falcons with multiple two-goal efforts. On Nov. 21, he was named CCHA Forward of the Week, the first weekly conference honor of his career. He ranked third on the team with a plus/minus of +7. He recently signed his first professional hockey contract with the ECHL's Orlando Solar Bears, where he has two assists and is +2 through two games.

This is the first all-conference honor of Burke's career. The last Falcons to earn All-CCHA second team were Ryan Carpenter and Bobby Shea, who were selected in 2013. Burke is the first Falcon to earn second-team all-conference honors since Brandon Kruse and Alec Rauhauser were selected in 2019.
