Norris Collects CCHA Weekly Award After Career Performance Against Ferris State

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has recognized four student-athletes as its Players of the Week for the previous week of competition. Bowling Green's Dalton Norris was named CCHA Defenseman of the Week, his first honor of his career. The junior recorded three assists to help lead the Falcons to their first conference sweep against Ferris State.
This is Norris' first conference award honor of his career as well as the second for Bowling Green in the 2024-25 season after junior Brett Pfoh earned forward of the week in the first week of the season. Notably, this marks the first CCHA defensive conference award under head coach Dennis Williams.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Dalton Norris, Junior, Bowling Green
Dalton Norris led the Falcons in assists in the second game against the Ferris State Bulldogs on last Saturday. On Saturday night, the junior recorded a new career high points and assists in a game with three. The Oxford, Mich., native recorded all three assists on sophomore Brody Waters first career hat trick on the power-play. Norris was key contributor to the success of the Bowling Green power-play that went 4 for 7 on the power-play on Saturday night. He is currently second on the team in assists and with four through eight games.
