Norris Earns Second CCHA Weekly Award of Career

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has recognized four student-athletes as its Players of the Week for the previous week of competition. Bowling Green's Dalton Norris was named CCHA Defenseman of the Week, his second honor of his career. The junior recorded his fourth multi-point game in Saturday night's game against the Michigan Tech Huskies. On the weekend, Norris recorded two points, a goal and an assist.
This is Norris' second conference award honor of his career and second of the season. Bowling Green now has earned four CCHA weekly awards for the 2024-25 season after junior Brett Pfoh earned CCHA Forward of the Week in the first week of the season and both Norris and sophomore Breck McKinley both earned CCHA Defenseman of the Week. This marks BGSU's third consecutive defensive player of the week award for week's that they were eligible to win the award.
CCHA Defenseman of the Week: Dalton Norris, Junior, Bowling Green
Norris started the scoring for the Falcons on Saturday night, with his second goal of the season. The junior's goal was scored on the power-play for the Falcons' 10th power-play goal of the season and the second for Norris. The Oxford, Mich., native followed up on his success assisting on the second BGSU power-play goal of the night, for his fourth multi-point career game.
