Cole Moore Named CCHA Goaltender of the Week

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association announced the Players of the Week Monday afternoon (Feb. 12). Of those named, Bowling Green's Cole Moore was named for the games on February 9-10, Moore was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week. Moore was in the net for the Falcons on Saturday, Feb. 10 which was the game that swept the Lake Superior State Lakers.
CCHA Goaltender of the Week: Cole Moore, Freshmen, Bowling Green
Freshmen, Cole Moore recorded 37 saves on Saturday night in the 4-2 win over the Lake Superior State Lakers. Moore saved eight goals in the first, 17 in the second and 12 in the third while allowing the only two Lakers goals late in the third period. Moore recorded his ninth win of the season and is now .500 on the season and records a .916 save percentage. Through 18 games played Moore has 545 saves in his rookie year. Moore was last named CCHA Goaltender of the Week on December 11th and was named Rookie of the Month on January third. Moore now holds three CCHA awards on the season.
