Cole Moore Named To All-CCHA Rookie Team

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has announced its All-Rookie Team for the 2023-24 season, with Bowling Green goaltender Cole Moore earning a nod. The freshmen recorded a .918 save percentage and 2.87 goals against average through 24 game played on the season.
All-CCHA Rookie Team: Cole Moore, Goaltender, Bowling Green
Cole Moore recorded 734 saves on 1378:99 minutes played for the Orange and Brown. Moore tallied one shut-out in his rookie season, being on December 8 when the Falcons hosted Ferris State and Moore recorded 39 saves. Moore recorded 15 games with 30 or more saves.
Overall, Moore ended the season with 10-13-1 record. Moore was named CCHA Goaltender of the week three times and Rookie of the week once. Moore was also named CCHA Rookie of the Month twice on the season, overall tallying six CCHA awards on his rookie year. Moore's first start for the Falcons was on October 15 at Augustana where he recorded 26 saves. His season high for saves was on December 14 at Bemidji State, where Moore recorded 43 saves.
