Stoever Collects First Monthly CCHA Award in the Dennis Williams Era, earning CCHA Goaltender of the Month for December

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has recognized four student-athletes as its Players of the Month for the Month of December. Bowling Green's Christian Stoever was named CCHA Goaltender of the Month, his second monthly honor of his career. The senior recorded three wins in three starts in the month of December as well as one shutout.

Stoever joins junior Brett Pfoh, junior Dalton Norris and sophomore Breck McKinley for earning CCHA awards for the season. Bowling Green has earned four CCHA weekly awards for the 2024-25 season, as well as one CCHA monthly award. The Northville, Mich., native has now earned two CCHA Goaltender of the Month awards after last earning the recognition in Nov. 2022. Notably, this marks the first CCHA monthly conference award under head coach Dennis Williams.

CCHA Goaltender of the Month: Christian Stoever, Senior, Bowling Green
Christian Stoever recorded three wins in three starts in the month of December for the Bowling Green Falcons. In the month of December, Stoever recorded one shutout on Dec. 13, 2024 in a 2-0 win over the Northern Michigan Wildcats. Additionally, in the month of December the senior goaltender recorded 67 saves with a 1.33 GAA and a .943 save percentage.
