November 17, 2025 | Ice Hockey
The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) has announced its list of weekly award winners for the week of Nov. 9-16. The Bowling Green Ice Hockey team earned another two weekly awards, as Noah Morneau won Forward of the Week, and Dominik Rymon earned Rookie of the Week for their roles in sweeping the Ferris State Bulldogs by scores of 9-5 on Friday night, and 5-2 on Saturday night.Â
Noah Morneau has continued his hot start to the 2025-26 CCHA season after winning Rookie of the Week the week prior. This past weekend, Morneau shined again on the top line for the Falcons, as he had three goals and one assist in Friday night's game against Ferris State, followed by another goal and an assist on Saturday night. Morneau's six-point weekend puts him up to a team-leading 11 points, with seven goals and four assists. Morneau's seven goals on the season makes him part of a four-way tie for most goals in the CCHA this season.Â
The top line for the Falcons of Noah Morneau centering Quinn Emerson and Dominik Rymon was seemingly unstoppable this weekend, as they combined for 16 points against the Bulldogs. In addition to Morneau's six points, Quinn Emerson added five assists to his tally, and Dominik Rymon had two goals and three assists for five points.Â
Rymon was also recognized in this week's awards, as he earned Rookie of the Week for his performances. The Karlovy Vary, Czechia native scored the first two goals on Friday night, followed by an assist on Tyler Hotson's powerplay goal in the second period. Rymon also assisted Noah Morneau's second goal of the night, earning him four points in Friday night's win. He then continued his strong weekend on Saturday night, as he assisted Noah Morneau's opening goal.Â
The Falcons will look to continue their hot offensive play this coming weekend (Nov. 21-22), as they head to St. Paul, Minn. for a series with St. Thomas. The Tommies battled the Augustana Vikings on Saturday, earning one point in a 4-4 tie that the Vikings went on to win in the shootout.Â
