O’Hara and Waters Named to Second Team All-CCHA Team

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has announced its 2024-25 selections for All-CCHA second team, with Bowling Green senior Ryan O'Hara and sophomore Brody Waters earning recognition. O'Hara is making his first appearance on an All-CCHA Team after being a four-time CCHA All-Academic Selection. Waters is being awarded his first All-CCHA team after being named as the CCHA Rookie of the Week on Nov. 27, 2023.
All-CCHA Second Team: Ryan O'Hara, Senior, Forward, Bowling Green
O'Hara is currently leading all Bowling Green skaters in points and assists with 33 points and 22 assists. The senior forward is currently tied for his highest season tally in goals and has his most assists and points in a season. The Oakville, Ont., native has five game-winning goals including his most recent one against Lake Superior State to close out the regular season and clinch home ice for the Mason Cup Quarterfinals. O'Hara is currently fifth in the CCHA in points and in assists per game at .63 per game. Nationally, the senior captain is ranked 10th in the nation in game-winning goals.
All-CCHA Second Team: Brody Waters, Sophomore, Forward, Bowling Green
Waters is currently leading the team in goals with 16 and is tied for second on the team in points with 22. The sophomore is currently tied for the NCAA lead and leads the CCHA in power-play goals with 10. The Heidleberg, Ont., native is fourth in the CCHA in goals and in goals per game with .46 goals/game. He is one of seven players in the CCHA to have recorded at least one hat-trick this season so far.
