Falcons Head to NIU for MACtion Meet on Sunday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green gymnastics team continues MAC competition on Sunday when the Falcons head to DeKalb to face NIU. The meet will start at 2 p.m. inside the Convocation Center.

IN THE RANKINGS
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 59 in the nation per Road to Nationals. NIU comes in at No. 56.
• Bowling Green is ranked No. 54 on vault, No. 57 on bars, No. 58 on floor and No. 67 on beam.
• NIU is No. 40 on vault, No. 57 on floor, No. 60 on bars and No. 62 on beam.
ALL-TIME SERIES
• Bowling Green is 14-14 all-time against NIU. The Huskies have won six-straight meets over the Falcons. BGSU's last win was in 2018 at Anderson Arena.
• Love Akpan set a PR on vault with a 9.800 and tied for No. 2 in the event in last year's meeting at the Stroh Center. Elise Brzoska tied her PR at the time on beam with a 9.800.
