Ryne Foster

Ryne Foster enters his first year as the baseball program’s volunteer assistant coach. Foster was brought on board in the fall of 2017. Foster comes to Bowling Green after many successful stops across his young coaching career.
Most recently, he served as an assistant coach at Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee from 2015-17. Across his two seasons, while working with the catchers and hitters, CSCC went 30-24, and earned a spot in the national rankings on two separate occasions. CSCC competed in NJCAA Division I.
From 2013-15, Foster was an assistant baseball coach at Georgia Southwestern State University in Americus, Georgia. Foster worked with the outfielders and was the hitting coach in 2015. While competing in NCAA Division II, the program saw increases in runs, doubles, home runs, RBI, walks and stolen bases during the 2015 season with Foster as hitting coach.
Foster was the JV head coach and varsity first base coach as a graduate assistant at Concordia University Ann Arbor from 2011-13. Foster also served a stint as the head coach of the Adirondack Trail-Blazers of the New York Collegiate Baseball League and Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
Foster has an extensive background in working with catchers, hitters, and is also skilled in player development, scouting, statistical analysis, video breakdown, practice planning and field maintenance.
Foster was a four-year letterwinner at Anderson University, where he earned his B.A. in mathematics. He earned his M.A. in organization leadership and administration from Concordia University Ann Arbor.
