2008: Made 27 starts in the outfield (18 in right field - six in left field - three in center field)...had four multi-hit games with a high of three hits against Ball State (4/11) and Eastern Michigan (5/6)...had four RBI in both those games as well as against Cincinnati (3/12) after hitting a grand slam...led the team with five pinch hits (in five at-bats)...had 23 RBI and 25 runs scored in only 110 at-bats...made 10 appearances on the mound covering 15.2 innings...yielded only two hits in last six appearances (7.0 innings) and no runs...earned a save pitching the last three innings against Northeastern (3/7) and by getting a game-ending double play in the regular-season finale against Akron coming in with two on and one out...in his first three seasons, he has made 22 relief appearances (38.1 innings) and has a 3.52 ERA...six-game hitting streaks his freshman and sophomore seasons are the best of his career...is a career .265 hitter in MAC play with eight doubles.
2007: Made a total of 43 starts, splitting time between pitching and the corner infield positions (20 starts at third - 14 starts at first)...led the Falcons with five triples...had a batting average above .300 most of the season before finishing at .298...had eight doubles and five triples while driving in 20 runs...had three games with three runs batted in...went 4-for-4 with an RBI at Kent State (5/4)...also earned five wins on the mound in 45.0 innings of work, including nine starts...struck out a season-high six batters while allowing just one run in five innings against Wright State (3/27) and then hurled five shutout innings against IPFW (4/3).
2006: Ended the season as part of the starting rotation...made his final five appearances as a starter...compiled a 2-3 record with a 4.23 ERA for the season...combined with five other pitchers in shutting out of Murray State (2/26) pitching one inning in relief in his first career appearance...started his career on the mound allowing just six earned runs in his first nine appearances (2/26 to 4/23) covering 26.1 innings (2.05 ERA)...got his first career win vs. IPFW (4/5) in relief...had a stretch of six appearances (3/29 to 4/23) that covered 21.1 innings in which he gave up just two earned runs (0.84 ERA)...surrendered just one run in 8.0 IP with six strikeouts against Akron (4/23)...had a 2.45 ERA in his eight relief appearances...also made 14 starts in the field, splitting time between first base (7), shortstop (3) and third base (4).
High School: A four-year letterwinner...led the Black Knights to four conference titles and a 2005 district runner-up...was a four-time first team all-conference selection, including the Blanchard Valley Conference Player of the Year in 2005...coached by Rob Obenour...also earned four letters in basketball.
