Burston, Jordan Have Strong Individual Performances

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - As the second day of the Ohio State Invitational draws to an end; the BGSU Falcons retain the sixth place position with 183.
Sarah Burston, a sophomore from Sydney, Australia, swam her way to a new personal best in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 55.60, beating her previous best of 56.75. Burston was also apart of the 200-yard medley relay team that took 12th as well as the 800-yard freestyle relay team that took 14th.
Sami Jordan also swam strong with a seventh place finish in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing in 56.80. Jordan's time at the OSU Invitational was only five-tenths of a second off her personal best. Alisha Yee and Kristen Tetuan also participated in the 100 backstroke taking 11th and 20th.
The Orange and Brown took a top eight place in the 200-yard medley relay with a seventh place finish. The team of Alisha Yee, Meg Richardson, Vicky Yu and Carrie Enright swam the race in 1:45.25, beating out the eighth place Miami Hurricanes by a slim one-one hundredth of second.
The Falcons will finish out the OSU Invitational tomorrow, Sunday, Dec. 7. Preliminaries begin at 11:00 a.m. with finals beginning at 3:00 p.m.
