Falcons Host Central Michigan With Possible MAC Title on the Line

The Bowling Green State University gymnastics team will play host to the Central Michigan Chippewas this Sunday indise Anderson Arena. The dual meet will begin at 2 p.m. and will air locally on BCSN as the pair will square off with a possible share of the MAC regular season championship.
Both Central Michigan and BGSU are currently 4-1 in the Mid-American Conference, trailing just Kent State, 5-0.
BGSU is coming off a 195.275-191.200 loss to Kent State this past weekend in Kent, Ohio. Freshman Danielle Wishart finished first on the vault with a 9.875 and third on the floor with a 9.825. The 195.275 was the highest score this season the Falcons have faced.

The Chippewas are 11-2 overall on the season, including a 194.325-193.275 over Ball State last weekend. It was senior day for Jessica Suder and Katie Simon, and neither disappointed. Simon won the all-around with a 38.625 while Suder claimed the balance beam title with a season-best 9.875 in their final home meet.
Speaking on senior day, Sunday will be the final regular season meet for four Falcon seniors; Morgan Balzer, Breanne Guy, Megan Chronister and Queenita Gamble.
All four of those seniors and the rest of the Falcons will host the MAC Championships the following Saturday (Mar. 27) inside Anderson Arena, beginning at 2 p.m.
