Coach Bergeron's Take
- On tonight's game and the resilience the team showed to tie the game in the third period, "I agree about coming back in the third but if you go back before that we were ahead going into the third, so not very happy with that. We are a team that takes pride in going into the third period with a lead and we win those games. That didn't happen tonight. Full marks to our opponent for sure, they obviously weren't going to just roll over. Now, the way we fought once we were down in the third period, I liked the way we stuck to it and found a way to tie it up."
- On what adjustments can be made going into game two, "We're going to have to look at the power play, one for seven that's not even close to go enough. I think our overall play with the puck from blue line to blue line, which in our estimation is something we take pride in. I just didn't think our management through the neutral zone with the puck was good enough. Tightening up the power play and managing the puck better."
