BGSU OPENS WEEK WITH WIN OVER OAKLAND
On Wednesday (March 13), BGSU opened its home schedule with a 6-3 victory over Oakland University. David Stopp picked up his first-career win, throwing 3.0 innings of one-run ball. Jeremy Spezia blanked the Golden Grizzles over the final two frames to earn the second save of his career. Mike Malewitz drove in two runs, while Jake Wilson, Brad Croy, Neil Lambert and Ryan Johnston posted two hits apiece.
