December 03, 2025 | Ice Hockey
The Central Collegiate Hockey Association has released its list of players of the month for the month of November. Bowling Green's Noah Morneau has earned Rookie of the Month honors, on top of his previously earned Forward of the Week (11/17) and Rookie of the Week (11/10) awards.Â
Across the month of November, Morneau has tallied nine points, including six goals and three assists. Only his linemates Quinn Emerson and Dominik Rymon have tallied similar point totals in November, with Emerson putting up 12 points and Rymon adding another nine, comprising the Falcons most productive forward line.Â
Morneau's points in the month of November have been timely, as he netted equalizing goals on two separate occasions in Nov. 7th's 4-4 tie against Minnesota State. Morneau also tallied four goals in the Falcons Nov. 14-15 series with Ferris State including a hat-trick in Nov. 14's 9-5 win. Following the Falcons sweep against Princeton this past weekend, Morneau currently sits at seven goals and five assists on the season, putting him at 8th in goals in the CCHA.Â
Morneau also sits atop the CCHA in face-off winning percentage, as he has won 61.8% of his faceoffs taken so far this season. The Windsor, Ont. native has been a spark in the first half of the 2025-26 campaign, and will look to continue his fine form this weekend (Dec. 5-6) as the Falcons host Northern Michigan in their final series before a three-week holiday break. Coming out of the holiday break, the Falcons will face tough competitions, as they take on the US National Team Development Program in an exhibition on Dec. 29, followed by a home-and-home against Ohio State on Jan. 2-3.Â
