Ethan Stade Named MAC Pitcher Of The Week

Stade Struck Out 11, Earned Save In BGSU’s Saturday Win
CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Mid-American Conference announced the MAC Players and Pitcher of the Week Monday afternoon (March 9). Of those named, Ethan Stade earned the Pitcher of the Week honor. This marks the first honor of Stade's BGSU career and the first for the Falcons this season after having three weekly honors last season.
Stade shined for the Falcons over the weekend, striking out 11 of the 14 batters he faced and 11 of the 12 outs recorded over his four-inning outing on Saturday (March 7). Stade allowed just one hit over his four innings of work, not allowing a run and registering the extended save. His 11 strikeouts are the most by a Falcon since 2024. Additionally, his 11 helped BGSU tally 16 as a team, the most for Bowling Green since 2019.

Bowling Green is set for a midweek contest at Dayton on Tuesday (March 10), currently scheduled for a 3 p.m. first pitch.
