2016: Named a team captain before the start of the season … played 52 games … started 48 games … started the year as the team’s primary DH, but played first base for most of the season after Randy Righter’s injury … led BGSU with 22 RBI … slugged two home runs … scored 13 runs and recorded seven doubles … his .341 slugging percentage led the club … posted 11 multiple-hit games … went on three separate hitting streaks of at least four games, including a season-high seven-game streak across April 13-23 … across that streak, he went 12-for-28 (.429) with nine RBI, four doubles, four runs and one home run … hit his first home run of the season in a victory at Central Michigan (March 22) … went 2-for-3 with two RBI against Ohio (April 15), and followed things up the next day by going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs and one home run … two days after the Ohio series, went 3-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles in a win over Wright State (April 19) … in BGSU’s last win over the season on May 19 at Buffalo, went 3-for-5 with three runs scored.
