Caden Lance was added as an assistant coach ahead of the 2027 season.
Lance attended Van Buren High School and began his collegiate baseball career at Owens Community College where he was a middle infielder for two seasons. As a freshman, he helped Owens reach the JUCO World Series with a .372 on base percentage in 45 games played.
Lance continued his collegiate career at the University of Toledo, where he played for one season in 2023.
Lance began his coaching career at Owens Community College as a volunteer assistant coach for one season. In that role, he worked with the infield with a focus on defensive fundamentals, footwork, positioning and throwing. He also helped as an assistant coach at Van Buren High school where he held a similar focus while also assisting with hitting development.
A native of Findlay, Ohio, Lance graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in mechanical engineering technology.
