Pre-College: Played his last two junior season for Victoria Salsa of the BCHL and coach Campbell Blair in 2000-01 season he recorded 23 wins for Victoria with a 3.03 GAA and a .919 save percentage in 48 games for his efforts, he was named 2000-01 Coastal Conference MVP and Top Goalie also named first-team All-Star and Victoria[apos]s Team MVP in 1999-2000, he had a 3.28 GAA and a .901 save percentage named team[apos]s 1999-2000 Rookie of the Year, made the league[apos]s All-Rookie Team and was a second-team All-Star Victoria Salsa captured the 2000-01 BCHL Championship.
