Bio
An Overview...
One of six seniors on the team.
Three-year letterman who is an excellent skater with very good foot speed..
Disciplined player who likes to bang the body.
Shoots left.
A good up and down player.
Only the second Washington native to play at BGSU and the first since Doug Claggett (Issaquah) in 1984-85.
The son of Jeff and Martie Ham.
Has one brother.
An architectural/environmental design studies major.
Maintained a 3.88 grade-point average after the spring term.
Has had four 4.0 semesters.
Currently serves as the hockey team representative on the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
Played in 36 games.
Served as an assistant captain.
Had a goal and game-winning assist at Northern Michigan (Nov. 6) and two assists vs. Alaska Fairbanks (Nov. 14) for multiple-point games.
Had a three-game point streak (Nov. 13-27).
Named to the CCHA All-Academic First Team.
Received the Jack Gregory (Scholar-Athlete) Award.
Named to the GTE District IV University Division Men[apos]s Fall/Winter At-Large Academic First Team.
Recorded his first collegiate game winning goal against Lake Superior on Jan. 31.
Had three two-game point streaks and a two-game goal scoring streak.
Tallied a career-best two goals at Michigan on Jan. 9.
Received the Jack Gregory (Scholar-Athlete) Award along with Dave Faulkner.
Joined the team as a recruited walk-on.
All of his starting assignments came on the left side.
Scored his first collegiate goal against Notre Dame (Nov. 2), his eighth game as a Falcon.
Had a total of 10 points (5-5--10).
Tied for third on the team in short-handed points.
Scored all but one of his 10 points in a 19-game stretch dating from Nov. 23 (MSU) to BG[apos]s Feb. 16 encounter against OSU.
Skated for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the United States Junior A Hockey League in 1995-96 under the direction of Head Coach Scott Mikesch.
Finished the season under former Falcon Iain Duncan.
Primarily played left wing, but also saw time at the other two forward positions.
Scored 20 goals and assisted on 19 other for his sixth-place club.
Served as team captain.
Competed for the Dubuque Fighting Saints of the USHL the two prior years.
Saw action with the Anchorage North Stars in 1992-93 in Midget AAA action.
Played prep hockey at Dimond H.S. in Anchorage, Alaska, where he lettered as a freshman and sophomore.
