BOWLING GREEN, Ohio. -- The Bowling Green State University ice hockey team snapped their five game losing streak Friday night, defeating Canisius 4-1. Four different Falcons lit the lamp in the contest, marking their highest goal output of the season since week one.

The Falcons finally broke through Morrison just over four minutes into the second period. Sophomore Mike Fink knocked home a puck in front at even strength, giving the Minnesota native his first goal of the season.

The Falcons' three-goal outburst in the second period marked the most goals in a single frame this season for Bowling Green, giving them 11 second period goals on the season.
Bowling Green dominated defensively as well, holding Canisius to just eight shots in the contest, marking the lowest number yielded so far this season.
