Orange And Brown World Series Begins Thursday

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team begins its annual Orange and Brown World Series on Thursday afternoon. The best-of-five series will take place at Steller Field.
This season, the Brown team will be managed by volunteer assistant Ryne Foster, while the Orange squad will be managed by assistant coach Ryan Shay. Foster selected infielder Neil Lambert with his first pick, while Shay selected right-handed pitcher Zac Carey.
The rest of the Brown squad is as follows: RJ Williams, Mitchell Schneider, Brad Croy, Derek Drewes, Justin Mott, Wes Rickenberg, Tyler Anderson, Ty Suntken, Chandler Stillings, Jeremy Spezia, Joe McGuinness, David Steward, Jake Wilson, David Stopp and Anthony Smith.
The remainder of the Orange team is as follows: Ben Beutel, Jeff Scott, Nick Neibauer, Evan Brown, Riley Brass, Adam Furnas, Cam Daugherty, Dylan Dohanos, Zac Carey, Riley Minorik, Kody Brown, Nick Piazza, Randy Righter, Daniel Buratto and Damon Egnor.
The team held a brief media day in the locker room this afternoon. The interviews can be found below, along with the schedule for the entire series.
