Coach Bergeron's Take
- "I thought we were okay in the first period, but Minnesota State's goals were ones we should have had. I didn't think we made it a hard period for them. I think the first three minutes of the game was good, until we took a penalty and they scored. As for our special teams, at the time that Baylis scored it made it 2-1 and it was a positive, but they definitely out-played us in the special teams tonight. Tomorrow we need more players engaged. We didn't have nearly enough guys engaged and collectively we need to play better to give ourselves a chance."
Up Next
- The Falcons will look for redemption tomorrow evening, as they have a chance to split the weekend at Minnesota State with an 8:07 p.m. Eastern Time start at the Verizon Center on Saturday, Nov. 18.
- It will be the final road game of the 2017 campaign, before the Falcons return home to the Slater Family Ice Arena for a seven-game home stint.
