Scoring Plays
- Michigan Tech struck first during the 4-on-4 period in the opening frame. Parker Saretsky passed the puck up the ice to Logan Ganie, who skated from the blue line to the right circle. He dumped it back to Saretsky, who slotted it for the game's first goal. Ganie and Ryan O'Connell had the assists.
- In the second period, the Falcons evened the score with an Anton Malmstrom score. Ethan Scardina poked the puck loose from a scrum in front of the net, then Ben Wozney took it from the right circle to the bottom of the offensive zone. He circled the net and sent a pass up to Malmstrom, who lit the lamp with a one-timer from atop the left circle. Wozney and Scardina were credited with the assists.
- Late in the second period, an Adam Pitters charging penalty was reviewed and deemed a five-minute major. The Huskies capitalized with a power play goal from Ryland Mosley. Nick Nardella sent the puck at the net, where it was corralled by Logan Pietila. He made a pass across the zone to Mosley, who was able to hit the left side of the net from inside the right circle. Assists went to Pietila and Nardella.
- The Falcons remained on the penalty kill but were able to tie the game with a shorthanded goal from Ethan Scardina. He forced the puck away from Michigan Tech, then collected it along the boards. The junior skated to the edge of the left circle before firing a wrister that went top-shelf for the unassisted goal.
- The Huskies tallied the game-winning goal just over six minutes into the third period. Saretsky stopped a BGSU attempt to clear the puck, then had a long-range shot deflected by Stoever. The rebound went to the left side of the crease, where Ganie was located to send in the winning goal. Saretsky had the lone assist.

- Ethan Scardina tallied his third goal and first assist of the season, giving him four points. This marked his first multi-point game of the year and second of his career. The junior forward has nine goals and nine points for 18 points in his 56-game career.
- Scardina's goal was shorthanded, the first of his career. He is the only player on the team to score a power play goal and a shorthanded goal. This was BGSU's third shorthanded tally of the season, with Taylor Schneider and Quinn Emerson scoring the first two.
