Falcons Split Saturday Doubleheader To Snap Rockets' 12-Game Win Streak
May 07, 2022 | Baseball
BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball program split the doubleheader to begin the weekend's Battle of I-75 on Saturday (May 8) at Steller Field. The win for the Falcons in game two snapped a 12-game winning streak for the Rockets. For Bowling Green, it was a six-run fourth inning that not only sparked the team, but made the difference in the end. Adam Furnas ripped a line drive over the left field wall to get the scoring started with a three-run home run. BGSU batted around the order that inning and the pitching took over from there to secure the win and split the doubleheader.
