Ty's Take
"It was really intense out there. The crowd was awesome. I think everybody who was here was entertained and enjoyed it. Some of the guys were saying in the locker room and on the bench, 'It's a great atmosphere out here, let's give them something to be excited about.' Our guys were engaged and invested."

Scoring Plays
- The Beavers started the scoring with 12:43 to play in the first period. Lleyton Roed threw the puck at the net as he entered the zone, then it wrapped around the boards to Adam Flammang. He fired a wrist shot from the right boards, which snuck through traffic for the score. Roed and Elias Rosen had the assists.
- Early in the second, the Falcons evened it with a shorthanded goal. BSU goaltender Mattias Sholl collected the puck after BGSU cleared it, then looked to send it up the ice to an open skater. Quinn Emerson skated at Sholl and was able to get his stick on the puck, knocking it directly in front of him. He swung it past a lunging defender and into the open net for the unassisted goal.
- Near the midpoint of the third period, the Orange and Brown penalty killers struck again, scoring another shorthanded tally. Once again, it began with Emerson, who controlled Sholl's pass the leaked into the neutral zone. As he attacked the left side, he placed a perfect pass on the stick of a crashing Jaden Grant, who sent a one-timer from between the circles into the net.
- In the waning seconds of that same power play, Bemidji State tied the game. Kaden Pickering worked the puck out of the left corner and up to Rosen at the blue line. His cross ice pass found Kyle Looft, who whistled the puck through for a power play goal.
- With less than five minutes remaining in regulation, Bowling Green regained the lead. Ben Wozney scooped the puck from the boards in the defensive zone, finding Ryan O'Hara. He pushed it up to Austen Swankler, who skated around a defender as he entered the zone. With just one hand on the stick, he dumped it back to O'Hara, who beat Sholl stick-side for the game-winning goal.
- Like the previous game, the Falcons clinched the win with a buzzer-beating empty net goal. After an incredible sprawling save from Christian Stoever, the teams faced off with 11.9 seconds remaining. The Beavers won it, but Nathan Burke deflected a shot from the right circle. It was chipped up the ice by Alex Barber, then Taylor Schneider won the race and lit the lamp with his 99th career point.
