Falcons Resume MAC Play With Weekend Slate At Central Michigan

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team will continue their five-game road trip with three against the Central Michigan Chippewas this weekend. The Falcons and Chippewas are set for a 3 p.m. first pitch on Friday (March 31) to round out the month of March before being scheduled for 1 p.m. starts on both Saturday (April 1) and Sunday (April 2). Central Michigan will have video streams available for each game of the series. Bowling Green enters the weekend as winners in six of their last seven contests, holding a 9-13 record on the season and 4-5 standing within the MAC.

Central Michigan is coming off a midweek loss to Michigan in 10 innings by a score of 6-5. The last two losses for the Chippewas have come in extra innings, also falling 4-3 to Kent State in 12 innings last Friday (March 24). On the year, CMU has a 13-10 record while being 4-2 within the MAC. In the conference, they've picked up two wins against both Kent State and Ohio. As for their other wins, they beat Baylor and UTRGV twice, Sacramento State three times and have one win against Saint Mary's and San Jose State.
