BGSU Baseball To Resume MAC Play This Weekend Against Ball State

Falcons, Cardinals Scheduled For Three-Game Weekend Series
MUNCIE, Ind. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team will resume conference competition this weekend against the Ball State Cardinals in Muncie, Ind. The Falcons and Cardinals are scheduled for a three-game series that will mark the second MAC series of the season for both teams with all three games being streamed on Ball State's All-Access page.

Scouting Ball State
Ball State is coming off a midweek win over Purdue Fort Wayne on Tuesday (March 12), upending the Mastodons 19-7 in seven innings. The win gave the Cardinals back-to-back after topping Eastern Michigan in the series finale last weekend to avoid the sweep. On the year, Ball State has picked up wins over Michigan State (4-1) and Illinois (7-1) and took on No. 20 Iowa (L, 5-0) as well as Coastal Carolina (L, 12-2, 7 Inn.) who was receiving votes at the time.

The run total marks the most by any team in the conference during the first weekend of conference play with the next team being Miami (OH), who BGSU swept, with 27.
