Falcons To Go Against Golden Grizzlies In Midweek Game

BGSU, Oakland Scheduled For 2:30 p.m. Start Tuesday
ROCHESTER, Mich. – The Bowling Green State University baseball team will remain on the road for a midweek game against the Oakland Golden Grizzlies on Tuesday (April 2). The Falcons and Golden Grizzlies are scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. pitch at Oakland Baseball Field in Rochester, Mich. with the game being aired on ESPN+. Bowling Green is coming off a win over Xavier on Saturday (March 30) that concluded a three-game series with the Musketeers. BGSU has won seven of their last nine games, as well as 10 of their last 13.
Scouting Oakland
Oakland has two midweek games this week, first facing Toledo on Monday (April 1) before taking on Bowling Green Tuesday (April 2). Entering the week, Oakland has a 12-15 record on the season while being 4-5 within the Horizon League. They previously faced Miami (OH) this year, being swept by the RedHawks in three games. Oakland also took on Central Michigan on March 19, topping the Chippewas 11-8 in the Tuesday game. The Golden Grizzlies have won five of their last six games, including an 11-7 victory over Michigan State last Wednesday (March 27).

So far this season, the Bowling Green offense has placed themselves as one of the best in the nation, averaging 10.2 runs per game, which is sixth in the country and leads the MAC.
