Mancino Homers Against Ohio As Falcons Celebrate Steller Field Renovations

Ohio Forces Rubber Match Despite Late BGSU Push
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Ohio scored the first runs of the game with four in the second inning. OU added two runs in the fourth to make it 6-0.
- Anthony Mitta led off the inning with a double to left center before moving to third on a grounder. Andrew DiLodovico legged out a single to score Mitta for a 6-1 score through the fourth.
- Vinny Salvione singled to left with an error advancing him to third. Mitta put a ball in play to score Salvione, cutting the lead to 6-2.
- The Bobcats answered with a two-run home run to make the score 8-2 at the seventh inning stretch.
- DiLodovico started the inning with a single up the middle. A single from Zack Horky put two on, setting up a three run home run from Pauly Mancino to close the gap to 8-5.

FALCON STAT FACTS
- Andrew DiLodovico stayed hot at the plate for the Falcons with his second straight multi-hit game. DiLodovico now has a five-game hitting streak as well as a five-game scoring streak. During the five-game stretch, DiLodovico is 8-for-19 (.421) at the plate with six runs scored, four RBI, a triple and a home run.
- Pauly Mancino belted his second home run of the season with both coming in his last four games played. For Mancino, an Ohio transfer to BGSU, the three RBI from the round-trip marked a season-high for him.
- Anthony Mitta tallied his second double in as many days while scoring in both games of the series as well. Mitta has a hit in eight of the last nine games for the Falcons.
- Zack Horky put together his third multi-hit game of the season, logging two hits. Horky has five hits in his last five games played.
