2009: Saw time on the hill as both a reliever and starter with four starts in his 20 appearances, both highs among the 2009 freshman class…had an 0-3 mark over 41.1 innings pitched…in his first Falcon action against Western Carolina (2/21), he threw 4.1 innings allowing only two hits and an unearned run while striking out a pair of (mascot)…tossed 2.1 innings against Fairfield (3/7) without allowing a run…struck out career-best six batters over 3.2 innings in the Falcons’ 8-3 win over Michigan (3/31)…his longest stint was 5.1 innings in his start against Bradley (3/14).
HIGH SCHOOL: Earned two letters playing for coaches Jeff Swick and Craig Menke...was the main starter for the Musketeers as a senior making eight starts and pitching 52.0 innings...he had a 4-4 record with a 3.10 ERA...had 51 strikeouts and seven complete games...also hit .232 with seven RBI as team finished 11-11 and were second in the Putnam County League...was a first-team all-league pick...as a junior, he was 5-1 with 2.10 ERA in 46.2 innings...made eight starts and had three complete games along with 30 strikeouts...was a second-team all-league selection as the team finished 9-7...hit .244 with four RBI...was 1-0 in 10 innings of work with a 1.40 ERA as a sophomore...also lettered in basketball (2) and soccer (4)...served as president of student council.
