Falcons Travel To Eastern Kentucky For Weekend Series

The Bowling Green State University baseball team will head to Richmond, Kent. this weekend for a three-game series with the Eastern Kentucky Colonels. The Falcons enter the weekend with a 5-11 record, while Eastern Kentucky has a 6-9 record coming in.

Eastern Kentucky enters the weekend series with a 6-9 record on the season. The Colonels are coached by Jason Stein who is in his fourth season as the head baseball coach at Eastern Kentucky. Offensively, the Colonels are led by two senior infielders. Richie Rodriguez leads the way with a .393 average on the season. Rodriguez has hit seven home runs already, while driving in 19 runs. A.J. Jamison has also started the season strong for EKU. He has a .340 average, having knocked four doubles and three home runs.
