The Bowling Green State University baseball team will travel to Ypsilanti, Mich. for a showdown with Eastern Michigan on Wednesday (Apr. 30) night. The game between the two Mid-American Conference foes will be a nonconference matchup. First pitch will take place at 6:00 p.m. at EMU's Oestrike Stadium. The Falcons enter the contest with an overall record of 19-20, while EMU comes into the week with a mark of 15-26.
Scouting EMU
Eastern Michigan (15-26; 3-15 MAC) is coached by Jay Alexander, who is in his sixth season as the skipper at EMU. The Eagles opened the 2014 campaign with an impressive 6-5 win on the road at No. 13 Clemson. EMU entered MAC play at 8-8 overall, but has gone just 7-18 since then to fall to 15-26. The Eagles are 3-15 in MAC action, having been swept in three of their six series to date. They have lost 2-of-3 in the other three conference series'.
