Falcons Play At Dayton On Tuesday

DAYTON, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball team plays at the University of Dayton on Tuesday (May 8) afternoon. The ballgame is slated for a 3 p.m. first pitch from UD's Woerner Field.

For Bowling Green, Tuesday's contest marks the final away midweek game of the 2018 season. On May 15, the Falcons will play their final midweek game of the season against Wright State at Steller Field.

"We are looking forward to getting back onto the field on Tuesday," said head coach Danny Schmitz. "Dayton played us down to the wire earlier in the season, so we know that we are going to have to play a clean game in order to win. This is an important opportunity for us to get back on track before our final home conference weekend of the year."

On March 21 at Steller Field, Bowling Green defeated Dayton by a score of 5-4 on a Dylan Dohanos walk-off single into right field. Bowling Green holds a 46-22 advantage in the all-time series with the Flyers.

• Bowling Green hosts Northern Illinois this weekend at Steller Field for a three-game MAC series over May 11-13. The series begins with a 3:05 p.m. first pitch on Friday, May 11.
• The Saturday (May 12) and Sunday (May 13) contests will begin at 1:05 p.m. Prior to Sunday's game, seven Falcon seniors – Tyler Anderson, Kody Brown, Zac Carey, Derek Drewes, Justin Mott, Wes Rickenberg and Randy Righter – will be honored in a pre-game ceremony.
