- The Falcons will face-off with the Beavers for game one of this series on Friday, Feb. 22 at 8:07 PM ET. Game two will be on Saturday, Feb. 23 at 8:07 PM ET. Both games will take place in the Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minn. Â
- This will be the second regular season series meeting between Bowling Green and Bemidji State during the 2018-19 season, and the first trip the Falcons will take to Bemidji since the second round of the 2016-17 WCHA Tournament.
- The Beavers traveled to Bowling Green in early January. BGSU spilt the series dropping the first game (Jan. 3) by a final score of 3-2, and winning the second game (Jan. 19) by a final score of 3-1.
>>VERSUS BEMIDJI STATE
- All-time, Bowling Green holds a 13-8-2 edge over the Beavers of Bemidji State University.
- This will be the second series between these two squads on the 2018-19 campaign, as the Beavers traveled to Bowling Green for a series just three days into 2019. BGSU fell in game one of that two game series (Jan. 3) by a final score of 3-2. The Falcons struggled to find their game early in the contest as Lukas Craggs would find the back of the net in the second period. The Falcons would add a sixth skater and cut the Bemidji State lead to one with just a minute and a half left in the game as Tim Theocharidis would tally another for BGSU.
- BG then bounced back to split their series the next night (Jan. 4) defeating the Beavers in game two by a final score of 3-1. Bowling Green put the pressure on early as Brandon Kruse and Taylor Schneider would find the back of the net in the opening six minutes of the first period. BSU would score on a power play goal right before the end of the first. This would remain the score until Connor Ford would score a late empty net goal to insure the game for BGSU.
- This will be the first time Bowling Green has traveled to Bemidji, Minnesota since the second round of the 2016-17 WCHA Tournament. BGSU swept the Beavers two games to none to advance to the WCHA Championship game.
