Scoring Plays
- After a scoreless first, the Falcons took only 86 seconds to score in the second. The Falcons worked the puck deep in the zone, where Austen Swankler controlled it on the left side of the goal line. He found an open Alex Barber in front of the crease and the captain knocked in Bowling Green's first goal of the night. Swankler and Eric Parker earned the assists.
- The Spartans took even less time in the third period to even the score. Just 20 seconds in, Daniel Russell scored his first career goal, firing a shot from the left side. Assists went to Jagger Joshua and Matt Basgall.
- A minute later, Bowling Green regained the lead with a goal from Ryan O'Hara. The sophomore swiped the puck away from a Spartan and beat Dylan St-Cyr for the unassisted score.
- O'Hara scored his second unassisted goal of the night after the Spartans pulled St-Cyr. The forward intercepted a pass and fired the puck into the net, securing the non-conference victory for the Orange and Brown.
