Bowling Green Continues Home CCHA Play Against St. Thomas

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio – The Bowling Green Falcons (3-7-0, 2-4-0 CCHA) continue home conference play with a series against the St. Thomas Tommies (2-8-0, 1-3-0 CCHA). The Falcons and Tommies begin the series on Friday, Nov. 11, then conclude it on Saturday, Nov. 12. Both games are scheduled for a 7:07 p.m. ET puck drop in Slater Family Ice Arena.

Ticket, Parking, and Attendance Information
Tickets for Friday's game can be purchased HERE. Tickets for Saturday's game can be purchased HERE. Parking in the lots surrounding the Slater Family Ice Arena is limited and will be first come, first serve. Cash will be accepted. Overflow parking is located at the Perry Field House lot. Friday's game is Heroes Night, with the program recognizing military, police, fire, EMS, and hospital staffs. Saturday's game will be Youth Hockey Night, with Skate With the Falcons scheduled for postgame. Skates can be rented for $2, or you can bring your own. Before the game, autographed pucks will be available at the marketing table for the first 100 kids.

Last weekend, St. Thomas played a home-and-home conference series against #6 Minnesota State, dropping both games. The Tommies hosted Friday's contest, losing 7-2. The game was tied at 2-2 entering the final frame, with Cooper Gay scoring both goals, including one shorthanded. UST dropped a close second game, with Luke Manning notching a goal and assist. Mac Byers, Josh Eernisse, and Lucas Wahlin share the team lead in goals (3), with Ryan O'Neill tallying a team-best six assists. O'Neill and Wahlin each have a team-high 8 points. - Christian Stoever was named CCHA Goaltender of the Week after stopping 71-of-75 shots for a .947 save percentage. He made 36 saves in Saturday's win, with 32 coming in the first two frames. Stoever leads the conference in total saves (228) and saves per game (32.6)
- Taylor Schneider scored his second shorthanded goal of the season, giving him a share of the national lead. The Falcons have four shorthanded scores on the season, including Ethan Scardina's Friday tally. BGSU ranks second in the country in shorthanded goals.
- Alex Barber, Max Coyle, Chase Gresock, and Brayden Krieger all tallied two assists in Saturday's win. Gresock and Krieger are tied for the team lead with five assists each, while Coyle is the only Falcon with multiple two-assist performances. Barber has a career point total of 88, tied with Taylor Schneider for the team lead.
- Austen Swankler scored his team-best sixth goal of the season, giving him a team-high eight points. He is tied for fourth in the conference in goals and 13th in the conference in points. He and Scardina have two power play goals apiece, tied for sixth in the league.
- Jaden Grant and Nathan Burke registered power play goals, their first goals of the season. It marked Grant's first collegiate goal, bringing the freshman's point total to three. Burke has 30 goals in his career, with 17 coming during his 47 games as a Falcon.
