From Golden Grizzlies To Golden Flashes: BGSU To Face Kent State This Weekend

KENT, Ohio – The Bowling Green State University baseball program will stay on the road for this weekend's series against Kent State, moving from the Golden Grizzlies to the Golden Flashes. The four-game series will be played at Olga Mural Field at Schoonover Stadium. This series starts a long stretch of MAC play for the Falcons, with the next non-conference game being the May 10 matchup with Toledo at Fifth Third Field, the fifth consecutive game against the Rockets.
The Falcons last saw the field on Tuesday night (April 5) against Oakland. The Golden Grizzlies ran out 3-2 winners, but the Falcons continue to show signs of improvement as the season progresses. Bowling Green was able to climb back to a tied game with a two-run seventh inning, but a score in the bottom of the eighth swung the result back to Oakland.
