Scoring Plays
"Ferris State played really well. Give them a bunch of credit tonight, they deserved exactly what they got. They played to their identity more than we played to ours, so it's really frustrating."

Scoring Plays
- Halfway through the first period, Ferris State gained possession of the puck after a successful penalty kill. Antonio Venuto brought it through the neutral zone, then skated all the way around the net. He pushed it back up the zone to Luke Farthing, who fired a shot from the blue line. It was deflected away by Stoever, but Jason Brancheau was positioned to the left of the crease to knock in the rebound.
- The Bulldogs added to the lead in the second period, with Bradley Marek finding the back of the net. After Caiden Gault's shot sailed wide, Tyler Schleppe collected it and sent it back to the net. Marek crashed and tipped it past a lunging Stoever for the eventual game-winner.
- The Falcons cut into the lead with a third period power play goal, scored with a 5-on-3 advantage. Taylor Schneider brought the puck into the zone and dumped it off to Alex Barber, who found Austen Swankler in the right circle. He passed it back to the point, where Schneider made a strong effort to keep it in the zone. He skated down the slot then fed it to Gresock in the left circle. He gathered and fired a whistling shot from the edge of the circle, lighting the lamp for the power play goal.
- Chase Gresock netted his second power play goal of the year, giving him a total of eight goals and 23 points this season. The senior has 43 goals and 53 assists for 96 points in his career, including nine power play goals. This year, he has six points on the power play.
- Austen Swankler extended his scoring streak to 19 games, tallying his 23rd assist of the season. During his streak, the sophomore has 11 goals and 21 assists for 32 points. He currently leads the CCHA in assists and points. In his career, he has 24 goals and 41 assists for 65 points in 64 games.

This games played total is fourth in program history and first among active NCAA players.

- The Falcons were 3-for-3 on the penalty kill, marking their third straight game without giving up a power play goal.
