- Back-to-back doubles in the third inning added four runs to the Broncos' tally, giving them a 6-0 advantage.
- The Falcons got on the board in the fourth inning. Sam Seidel knocked a single to left and Nathan Rose legged out an infield hit to put two on. - The Broncos scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth to move their lead to 9-1 before a Bowling Green pitching change in the inning.
- The Orange and Brown added a pair in the sixth. Seidel began the inning by drawing a walk followed by a Rose double off the left field wall, giving BGSU runners at second and third. A wild pitch allowed both runners to advance, including Seidel scoring.
