FALCON STAT FACTS
- Sam Seidel tallied a hit in each game for BGSU, giving him at least one in all three games to start the season. Going back to last year, Seidel has the team's longest hitting streak, now at six games spanning the two seasons. Seidel finished the weekend 5-for-8 with a pair of doubles and a home run.
- Seidel added two more stolen bases to his season total as well, swiping two in the first game after having two in the season opener Friday night. After not having a player with multiple stolen bases past March 30 of last season, BGSU has now had Seidel do it in two of the first three games this season.
- Pauly Mancino joined Seidel in having at least one hit in each game of the weekend series while also scoring in both games of Saturday's doubleheader.
- A few more Falcons made their debut in the Orange and Brown Saturday. During the first game, Ethan Stade, Griffin Scheiderer, Andrew DiLodovico, Joey Buchanan, Jackson Miller and Lance Vickers made their first appearances for the Falcons. As for the second game, Andrew Heffernan added his name to the list with the starting nod on the mound.
